2004 started very exciting for us at The Surf & Dive Rendezvous after the fourth year of the hotel if equated to human life since birth it’s a time when you are walking and testing new waters and settling in to the stride of life.

One of the greatest joys is to see our frequent return visitors year after year and enjoying the friendship the waves the diving the fishing the relaxing and the everyday living in our beautiful tropical paradise home.

This year the summary goes out to our returnees from all over the world and our travel agents and those that provide links to our websites thank you in advance for another exciting year of work looking forward to next year.

My hat goes out to the crazy Italians Mateo Nicola and Leonardo the wave hogs regards and best wishes Wilkes frigates and the waves of Fiji are still waiting year after year.

To Brazil Gustavo Kuerten (Guga) and your crew bro we had some memorable surf with you and the Beachcomber Island beer and guitar jam session on the beach what a life keep up the tennis.

To the die hard surfers from Brazil now living in Australia Luciano Arnoni thank you for taking care of me in Australia and showing me around Cronnulla and to all those in house aspiring musicians I hope you are starting to make gigs around Sydney.

Thiago Moura you have the true surfing soul for jumping off and surfing Coudbreak with the pros in the 2003 Quicksilver Pro Competition yeah go Brazil. The boys that were there Benny Whistler from the Vatukoula Goldmines from Ballana New South Wales say hello to your Bro and Bro in law. Wade from Kaui Hawaii better luck next time. To the 2 beautiful English girls that were there I forgot your names.

To Dylan Reid and all the boys and girls from USA that go back and fourth studying in Australia and New Zealand its always good to see you on the way to down under or on the way back to USA to all of you study hard and surf hard.

Eric Macmillan & Sereana and family hope all is well down there in Florida keep checking the website sure brother we have come a long way remember those fishing trip and how we used to kick around here.

To Dana Yoshimura and the Hawaiian big wave riders we have plenty of crabs will let them mature until you come back.

Karl Huneke my very special Hawaiian comedian friend thanks for the great laughs looking forward to another session of great laughs in the near future with Eric cold beers and barbecue on the beach.

To Keith Grey of Canberra keep up the good work in Indo good luck with the NGO in Indo all the best in learning the Indonesian language. Thank you also for keeping in contact with us for the last 8 years its people like you that keep us moving on and keep tugging along in life. A big thank you to you and your family. Its inspirational to see people like you 74 years old and doing things that people half your age don’t even attempt to do that is to inspire others.

Across the trans tasman to Kiwi Land the King of Ragg land Peter Head and your crew at your travel desk thanks you for believing in us. Will surf with you when you come around.

To our three staff that got married Overseas Jessica Piglet ( England) versus Solo (Fiji) the giant. All the best continue to remember where you meet peace to all of you and we wish you all the continued success.

To Oliver the King of England and Quinie his comrade it was great to ride waves with you three years later sorry for the mishap at the reef but you are alive to tell another story.

To our Aussie local Kit thanks for the Hammocks they are very comfortable in the hot weather …well used by our travelers.

Peter and Tyrone the North Nurrambeen boys and your families keep surfing hard like you always do.

At the home front all is well the pool is in to make the ladies more comfortable in the hot sun. The new Bar and restaurant will be open sometime next year. I Benjamin I’m well and doing the things I have to do taking care of all the people that come here to The surf & Dive Rendezvous and making sure the boats are safe and the people are comfortable and the food is edible.

Naoko is well she is happy like always and we will have another edition to our family around about the first week of March we hope for a boy. We are kind of looking forward to it and counting down the days already.

Pricilla is happy like always and very talkative and she will be in Kindergarten next year she has attended preschool the whole of last year. At the moment she is diving down to 2 meters she snorkels she surfs in Natadola Beach. Overall she has been doing well apart from being cheeky at times. She turned four years old October 16th 2004 her years are the number of year Rendezvous started.

Knox is still the same completed all the theory in his pursuit of becoming and electrician and then now just doing electrical work around rendezvous for training he will be visiting Melbourne in March 2005 for the backpacker Expo. He enjoyed his last trip with Graig and his family out there in Torquay to Graig and family thank you.

Apologies to all those not mentioned I do think we will run out of space if we mention you all.

To all those I know all around the world thank you for the continued support mother nature is where we derive our best interest thru surfing diving and fishing the nature the friendly Fijian people.

Lets always protect our mother that is the planet earth that we all share together.
