1) Music plays day and night! This week we had a very vibrant group
and most of them could play the guitar so the music playing and singing
started very early morning before the surf session and after the surf
it continued on to the evening.........!

2) Lucy & Paul finished PADI openwater diver course. Congratulation!
They saw a lot of fish and wall of soft corals in many varieties
of colours... Pink, white,purple, yellow and red.

3) Wilkes passage glassy 4ft swell. So it was easy to the beginner
surfer and the intermediate and the good sufers were doing the
big turns and airs and barrel riding........... so heaps of
fun most of the guys surfed untll they couldn't paddle anymore.

4) Cloud break going off at 4 to 6ft loads of
fun and almost perfect waves!

5) Introductory surfing on one of the most picturesque beaches
in the south pacific beach swell sometimes go up to 3 ft perfect

6) Misuzu was here on March this year and comes back again with her
18 years old younger sister, Manami and stayed 18 days.
They don't surf. They just went to snorkel trip one time. Why they
came here?
They are Jehovah Witness and they do house to house preaching work
in Japan after work.
But in Japan, many people doesn't open the house door, or absent at
home.There are many cult religion or sales man who try to crook the
honest people. So the people misunderstand them. But here countryside
in Fiji, every body invited them, accepted magazine and listen their
bible message.
Manami said 'First day I went to the field service, every house asked
me to stay and
gave food and drinks. So my stomach got very full.Some house even
told if you can not eat now, pack and take it'.
7) We caught so many fish in a few hours one trip! Our experienced
fishing and surfing instructor Eddie knows how and where to catch
fish.
This week's Surfing Fiji
Happily beginning of the surfing
at Cloudbreak, this week was a good for surfing. We surfed
Wilkes everyday. Except one day, south easterly wind blow
and we went to Natadola beach for picnic. That was also a
lot of fun for us.
For 3 weeks, we don't have rain. Sky is so blue and water
is so glassy.
Air and water temperature goes up to 30 degrees Celcius in
the daytime.
