Swell in
Fiji was too big for "Cloud break" on Saturday. So we surfed
not cloud break but "Restaurant". Wave was head high at there.
Then the wind started blowing hard for 3 days. Thursday and Friday,
we could surf in "Wilks".
This weeks topic is a TIGER.
Fuyuki and Yukari, Japanese couple from Auckland were staying with us
for 2 weeks and enjoyed diving everyday. They saw grey reef sharks,
white tip sharks, black tip sharks, Eagle ray, big Napoleon fish and
Tiger shark.
Sorry, when they saw a tiger shark, they were too scared to take photo
but it was true. they went inside the underwater cave and felt that
some cool eyes were watching them. That was a big tiger shark over 3
metres. We know even tiger shark not always attack people but it was
so dynamic!
Fijian divemaster Inoke and Mr.Fuyuki were shocked and hided themselves
behind the rock but Mrs.Yukari stranded just in front of shark and lighted
up the shark! (until she realized there was a big tiger shark.) After
that, tiger was gone, deeper inside the cave. Sorry to wake you up,
Tiger.
If you're the person who is wondering to dive with us in the future,
don't be afraid.
We hardly see tiger shark here. Fuyuki and Yukari are very lucky(?)
guests. We will take you to the diving sites which you can not see tiger
100%. But If you like to see tiger, tell us and we will take you to
that cave.
