Surfing Fiji this week ....Surf report from our surf guide Eli.

Sunday started off with a small swell at wilkes we surfed desperations and there were some solid sets coming through,due to the swell direction the swell was not reaching wilkes.
Monday saw a change in swell direction and fun 2-3 ft waves at wilkes.
Tuesday also saw fun 3-4 ft waves coming through with the wind coming up early
and the best conditions towards the middle of the day.
Wednesday it was rain and stormy conditions to greet us we ventured out there witht he hope that maybe the wind was the right direction but to no avail, the swell had risen to about 3-5 ft which was a good sign!!!
Thursday saw a nice day and conditions in the water with nice 3 - 4 ft waves coming through good day had by all!!
Friday,we left a little later so that we would miss the early blow,early crowd and low tide it worked in our favour,we had it to ourselves after being out there for an hour and we all got a tonne of waves the water was as calm as a milk pond perfect tide good fun 3 ft waves coming through!!!
Well another mixed bag conditions wise but all in all good waves all week!!!
The guys are heading out to cloudbreak and it looks good but as the Roxy comp is on this next week, im not sure if they are going out to surf or wanting to check out the roxy contest girls???
ok well my stint is over here as lifeguard, had amazing waves nearly everyday here, good time to be here!!!
