There is alot of news about Fiji and the Coup in the media and we have had a few question about how safe Fiji is.
Fiji is very safe. There are no guns or shootings or drug related crimes. Although you do get petty crimes like anywhere else in the world. It is important however for you to know that Fiji is very safe. There is virtually no violent crimes against tourists so dont worry! So when you visit Fiji just prepare to enjoy your holiday with the local people. The current news in Fiji now is the outbreak of Typhoid Fever and again some Media coverage have blown it out of proportions that there is full blown epidemic in Fiji again this is not true.
This is also to inform those that frequent this site, that we have invited some of our previous guests largely because they want to contribute to this weekly articles and write about their experience at Rendezvous Fiji Islands. Watch for the contributions its all made in the name of fun and it will be edited by me Benjamin so in that way we do not get nasty.

Good wave continues in Fiji! We could enjoyed 3-6 feet glassy surfing waves at Wilks every day.
