Surfing Fiji this week
This week we have had a good variety of waves. Saturday a
few of the boys got lucky and surfed restraints.
We had a strong offshore wind,
with some fun 3-4 foot bumpy barrels.
Sunday we took cover from the wind
and had fun small waves at Natandola.
Monday the crew was hungry for waves,
so we surfed Wilkes in strong side shore winds at 3-4 foot.
Tuesday we
had a few small waves at mini cloud break. A few of the boys enjoyed getting to
know the reef while it was small.
Wednesday was our day, the wind dropped
off and a new swell started to crank.
We had clean 5-6 foot at Wilkes, with
the occasional 7-8 foot sets catching everybody out. The crew had some epic waves
and fun was had by all.
Thursday and Friday the wind kick in again unfortunately.
So we made the most of surfing small fun protected waves at Natandola.
Another
new swell is expected to arrive this coming week, so book your ticket.
