Surfing Fiji this week
This week we have had clean fun smaller surf.
Saturday
and Sunday the wind was strong, so surfing was put on hold for the weekend.
Monday
much too every bodies surprise, the wind dropped right off and some excellent
3-4 foot wave were had at Wilkes.
Tuesday once again had fun waves, but a little
smaller.
Wednesday at Wilkes was super glassy round lunch
time. Small barrels were enjoyed by all.
An American wilderness beginner group
hit Natandola beach for a surf intro which had great results.
Thursday
and Friday the swell was small, so desperations came through with the goods. We
had clean 2-3 foot waves which kept the crew happy.
The swell
is looking small for the next few days, hopefully the full moon this week will
step things up a bit.
