Surfing Fiji this
week
This week we have had good swell. Monday was 6-8 foot
at Wilks, but wind effected. So a few of the guest
decided to go surfing on Natandola's outside reef,
sets were 8 Foot plus, but was said to be cleaner
in the morning...
Their was fun 2 foot waves to be had for the beginners
on the inside Natandola reef at high tide.
Tuesday Had 6 foot waves at Wilks, but was wind affected.
The keen ones challenged the bumpy rides.
Wednesday and Thursday have bought good
surfing conditions with the wind dropping off and
the direction swinging occasionally offshore. Fun
clean 4 to 5 foot waves at Wilks have been shared
by all with some excellent surf.
The swell is dropping, but will be picking
up on the coming weekend. If you're arriving in Fiji
this week, some decent size swell is coming your way.
